I'm inspired to write by the writings of others such as Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, Joan Didion, John Steinbeck, Roald Dahl, Fran Leibowitz, Audrey Neffenegger, Holly Selph and my mom. I am a plain jane who strikes up a conversation with just about anyone. I don't trust very easily and I still have difficulty trusting myself on occasion. I am challenged by the funny musings I have on life, the way people are, the mysticism of the world and the repetitious history of things. As I type this, I'm wondering which state will have the thirstiest people in 70 days - Alabama, Florida or my current home state of Georgia. I'm leaning toward Georgia. I have an eclectic array of music and am intrigued by others who seek out new and fantastical sounds to supplement that "rock and roll lifestyle" that Cake mused about in their song by the same name. I have guilty pleasures that will remain nameless and sit in my iPod for the days I need cheering up and dance around in my living room with the blinds closed. I work in a creativity stifling office with an analytical job that pays me just enough to put me into the next more expensive tax bracket. I am overly sensitive about somme things and analytical to a fault about most things. Hmmm...the root of analytical appears to be anal. That doesn't bode well... All in all...I'm more than poor which is the best anyone can ask for in these Apocolyptic last days of the Bush era. | ||
